Preview and Player Analysis
Point Guards
The Warriors will once again be led by two-time MVP Stephen Curry, who is still one of the best shooters in the NBA. Behind Curry is Jordan Poole, who emerged as a star last season and will be looking to take another step forward this year. The Warriors also added Ty Jerome in a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder, giving them a solid third option at point guard.
Shooting Guards
Klay Thompson is back healthy and will be looking to regain his All-Star form after missing the last two seasons with injuries. Donte DiVincenzo is a solid all-around player who can provide the Warriors with some much-needed defense. Moses Moody is a promising young player who could develop into a valuable contributor this season.
Power Forwards
Draymond Green is the heart and soul of the Warriors defense, and he will be looking to continue to play at a high level this season. Andrew Wiggins has developed into a solid two-way player, and he will be expected to continue to be a key contributor for the Warriors. Rookie Patrick Baldwin Jr. is a skilled player who could see some minutes this season.
Small Forwards
Otto Porter Jr. is a veteran swingman who can provide the Warriors with some much-needed shooting. Jonathan Kuminga is a promising young player who could develop into a star in the future. James Wiseman is a former No. 2 overall pick who is still trying to find his place in the NBA.
Centers
Kevon Looney is a solid rebounder and defender who will be counted on to be a key contributor for the Warriors this season. JaMychal Green is a veteran big man who can provide some scoring and rebounding off the bench. Rookie Ryan Rollins is a skilled player who could see some minutes this season.
Overall
The Warriors have a lot of talent on their roster, but they will need to stay healthy and play together in order to be successful. If they can do that, they have the potential to be one of the best teams in the NBA.
